India is engaging in negotiations for the Transfer of Technology (ToT) and local production of the Javelin Anti-Tank Missile System following the US Department of State’s approval of a $45.7 million Foreign Military Sale. The deal includes 100 missiles and 25 launch units, with a focus on establishing domestic manufacturing capabilities through a partnership between Bharat Dynamics Limited and the Javelin Joint Venture, comprising Lockheed Martin and Raytheon.
