Bihar declares victory over Naxalism, significantly reducing serious crimes.

Bihar has declared itself free from Naxalism, achieving a significant reduction in serious crimes such as murder and robbery, according to the annual performance report from the state’s police. The Bihar Police reported a 24.87% decline in robbery cases and emphasized successful strategies involving strict policing, technological advancements, and the implementation of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) to prevent criminal activities. In total, 220 Maoists were arrested this year, with a focus on dismantling organized crime networks through asset confiscation. Additionally, the establishment of the “Abhaya Brigade” aims to enhance women’s safety, reflecting the state’s commitment to public security and effective law enforcement moving forward.
