Delhi Court Extends NIA Custody of Two Suspects in Red Fort Attack
A Delhi court has extended the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) custody of two suspects linked to the Red Fort terror attack that resulted in 11 fatalities. Yasir Ahmad Dar, arrested under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, is alleged to have played a pivotal role in the conspiracy and has connections to other accused individuals. Dr. Bilal Naseer Malla, who allegedly provided logistical support to the main perpetrator, is also in NIA custody. The agency is actively investigating a broader conspiracy and has conducted extensive searches in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh, seizing digital evidence and other materials. This ongoing investigation underscores the Indian government’s commitment to combating terrorism and enhancing national security.
