India’s Ghatak UCAV program has gained momentum with the partnership of L&T and a commitment from the Indian Air Force (IAF) for procuring 7-8 squadrons. This stealthy, autonomous strike platform will significantly enhance the IAF’s capabilities, particularly for deep-strike missions against high-value targets. The Ghatak, powered by an advanced Kaveri engine, aims for induction by 2035, with initial funding awaiting approval.
