Punjab Police capture ISI-linked gangster-terrorists in major operation.

On December 15, 2025, Punjab Police, in a major intelligence-led inter-state operation coordinated with central agencies, arrested two gangster-turned-terrorists, Sajan Masih from Veroke village in Gurdaspur district and Sukhdev Kumar alias Manish Bedi from Amritsar’s Lahori Gate, immediately upon their arrival in Mumbai from abroad. Linked to the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and serving as key nodes for Pakistan-based ISI-backed terrorist Harvinder Singh alias Rinda and US-detained BKI operative Harpreet Singh alias Happy Passia, the duo had relocated from Dubai to Armenia and other countries to direct murders, extortions, grenade attacks, and terror activities targeting Punjab. Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav hailed the arrests as a significant success in dismantling cross-border terror networks, underscoring Punjab Police’s resolve to neutralize threats from overseas operatives destabilizing India’s border state.
