General Dwivedi reviews IMA Passing Out Parade, commissioning 525 officers.

Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi reviewed the 157th Passing Out Parade at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun, where 525 officer cadets, including 34 from 14 friendly foreign nations, were commissioned into the Indian Army. During the ceremony, which included the traditional Pipping Ceremony, General Dwivedi emphasized the importance of courage, integrity, and the evolving nature of modern warfare, citing Operation Sindoor as a prime example of the Indian Army’s adaptive strategies that blend military action with diplomatic efforts. He urged the newly commissioned officers to uphold the highest standards of discipline and leadership in response to the complex security challenges facing the nation.
