Indian Army Highlights Soldier Innovations at Inno-Yoddha 2025 Event
The Indian Army hosted its annual Inno-Yoddha 2025 event on December 5 at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, where Vice Chief Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh felicitated 32 soldier-led innovations selected from a record 89 submissions gathered between November and December. These advancements target operational gaps in logistics, training, and effectiveness amid border tensions with China and Pakistan, with five technologies—Exploder, Agniastra, Vidyut Rakshak, Baaz Attack Drone, and Multi-purpose Octacopter—receiving Transfer of Technology to industry on the same day. Over five years, 117 ideas have been nurtured, 47 productised, and 30 IPRs filed, bolstering Atmanirbhar Bharat and strategic self-reliance to counter evolving threats decisively.
