India and South Korea strengthen space ties through collaboration efforts.
India and South Korea are advancing their strategic space partnership, highlighted by a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA) on December 6, 2025. Indian Ambassador to Seoul Gourangalal Das hosted KASA Administrator Yoon Youngbin at the Indian Embassy, where they discussed joint space projects, shared use of science and technology infrastructure, ground station operations, and business-to-business ties in both nations’ growing private space sectors. The talks build on India’s leadership in cost-effective space missions and South Korea’s NURI rocket successes, aiming to enhance collaboration with Global South partners while reinforcing bilateral commitments reaffirmed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Lee Jae-myung at recent G20 and G7 summits
