India Sends 63,734 Vaccine Doses to Support Afghan Health Needs

India has demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian assistance in Afghanistan by delivering 63,734 doses of influenza and meningitis vaccines, part of a larger effort that includes 73 tonnes of vital medicines and food supplies sent in response to a recent earthquake. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s solidarity with the Afghan people during discussions with Afghan counterpart Amir Khan Muttaqi, emphasizing ongoing support amid regional challenges. This aid is crucial for addressing immediate healthcare needs and further solidifies India’s role as a vital partner in Afghan recovery efforts.
