Pakistan criticizes Rajnath Singh's remarks on Sindh's status.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office has criticized Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s remarks suggesting that Sindh province could revert to India, calling them “deeply troubling.” Singh’s comments were made during an event organized by the Sindhi community in New Delhi, where he implied that borders are not immutable. In response, spokesperson Tahir Andrabi urged India to refrain from such provocative statements and expressed concerns over India’s handling of the Indus Water Treaty. He also commented on the tenuous nature of the ceasefire with Afghanistan, citing ongoing terrorist attacks as evidence that security challenges remain formidable for Pakistan. This exchange underscores ongoing tensions between the two nations and highlights the complexity of regional stability.
