India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, alongside the stealth frigate INS Udaygiri, is participating in the International Fleet Review (IFR) 2025 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from November 27-29. This marks the maiden overseas deployment for both vessels, symbolizing India’s commitment to enhancing regional maritime cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region. The event coincides with the Sri Lankan Navy’s 75th anniversary, emphasizing India’s focus on promoting peace and stability through international collaboration.
