Analog Devices has launched the ADPA1112 gallium nitride (GaN) power amplifier, designed for electronic warfare applications and testing systems, operating within a frequency range of 1 GHz to 22 GHz. This advanced amplifier delivers a saturated output power of 42 dBm between 8 GHz and 16 GHz, featuring a power gain of 14 dB and 25% power added efficiency. It supports a supply voltage of 28 V and operates effectively in a temperature range from -40C to +85C. The introduction of the ADPA1112 enhances capabilities in mission-focused subsystems for electronic warfare, reflecting a significant advancement in military technology that can bolster defense strategies and operational readiness.
