India and Slovenia are strengthening their bilateral relations through a renewed focus on trade, technology, and tourism, highlighted during recent discussions in New Delhi. Secretary (West) Sibi George and a Slovenian delegation led by Peter Japelj explored opportunities for cooperation under the 3Ts framework, emphasizing sustainable practices and digital transformation. The countries reviewed their evolving trade relations, with an eye on joint initiatives in sectors such as agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare, particularly Ayurveda. Both nations expressed optimism regarding the India-European Union Free Trade Agreement, which promises to enhance market access and stimulate innovation, thereby solidifying their economic partnership in the European landscape.
