Apollo Micro Systems has secured new orders totaling ₹27.36 crore, comprising ₹5.7 crore from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and ₹21.6 crore from a private entity, significantly strengthening its business framework. The company’s subsidiary, Apollo Defence Industries, acquired IDL Explosives Limited, enhancing its portfolio in the defence sector. Additionally, a recent preferential allotment raised over ₹416 crore, primarily from the promoter group and LIC Mutual Fund, indicating strong investor confidence. These developments underscore Apollo’s strategic engagement with both government and private defense projects, reflecting a robust business model and an expanding presence in aerospace and defence electronics in India, thus reinforcing the country’s defense industrial capabilities.
