India and Morocco are enhancing their naval cooperation through discussions led by Rear Admiral Mohamed Tahin of the Royal Moroccan Navy during his official visit to India from November 24-27. Meetings with Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi included plans for structured training exchanges and collaboration in maritime domain awareness, reflecting the two nations’ shared interests in maritime security. The visit also involved engagements at key maritime establishments such as the Information Fusion Centre-Indian Ocean Region and training locations of the Indian Navy’s Southern Naval Command. This cooperation is significant in strengthening bilateral ties and promoting stability in the maritime domain amidst evolving geopolitical challenges.
