On November 25, 2025, Zen Technologies, a leading Indian defence technology firm, secured a ₹108 crore contract from the Ministry of Defence to supply advanced tank crew gunnery simulators. This development reflects a decade of indigenous innovation and aligns with the MoD’s 2021 Simulation Framework, which prioritises simulator-driven modernisation across all military branches. The simulators, designed to replicate real battlefield conditions, will strengthen Indian self-reliance and operational readiness without relying on foreign technology. Deliveries are expected within 12 months, showcasing rapid procurement as a response to evolving strategic needs.
