NSA Ajit Doval urges stronger regional security collaboration at CSC.

National Security Adviser Ajit Doval emphasized the critical need for enhanced regional security partnerships at the NSA-level meeting of the Colombo Security Conclave (CSC) in New Delhi. He highlighted the importance of collective responsibility among member states—Maldives, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and observers like Seychelles—to address threats such as maritime insecurity and cyber risks, framing the Indian Ocean as a shared heritage. Doval’s call for greater cooperation reflects India’s commitment to stability and security in the region, underscoring the CSC’s role as a platform for collaborative efforts in safeguarding common maritime interests amid a complex global security landscape. This initiative is pivotal for fostering regional resilience and strategic alignment in an increasingly volatile environment.
