India is set to resume air cargo services with Afghanistan imminently, as confirmed by an official from the External Affairs Ministry during the visit of Taliban Trade Minister Al-Haj Nooruddin Azizi. The activation of the Kabul-Delhi and Kabul-Amritsar air freight corridors is expected to enhance connectivity and strengthen trade ties, which currently stand at approximately $1 billion, with significant growth potential. Additionally, both nations agreed to appoint trade attaches in each other’s embassies and reactivate a joint working group on trade, commerce, and investment to facilitate bilateral cooperation.
