Russian drone strike kills 25 in Ternopil as Zelenskyy seeks Turkish support.

A recent Russian drone and missile attack on Ternopil, Ukraine, resulted in the deaths of at least 25 individuals, including three children, while President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Turkey for discussions with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to garner diplomatic support against Russia’s ongoing aggression. The assault, involving 476 drones and 48 missiles, highlights the escalating humanitarian crisis, prompting Zelenskyy to stress the need for increased international pressure on Russia. As Ukraine continues to defend itself amidst Russian strikes, NATO allies, including Romania and Poland, took precautionary measures by scrambling fighter jets in response to the incursion of drones into their airspace. This situation underscores the urgent need for a coordinated international response to stabilize the region and protect civilian lives.
