IAF showcases LCA Tejas at Dubai Air Show, boosting India's defense ties and aerospace capabilities.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) made a significant impact at the Dubai Air Show 2025, showcasing its indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas and the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, reflecting India’s growing aerospace capabilities and defense cooperation with the UAE. Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari emphasized the strong interest from foreign buyers in the Tejas, highlighting that India is set to induct nearly 200 of these aircraft, which underscores its commitment to self-reliance in defense manufacturing. The IAF’s participation, alongside a dedicated India Pavilion featuring contributions from HAL, DRDO, and private sector firms, serves as a powerful statement of India’s expanding footprint in the global defense industry. Tiwari noted that the engagement with UAE authorities is not only strategic but also reinforces bilateral defense ties, marking a significant step in enhancing India’s position as a key player in the international defense arena.
