Haryana strengthens anti-terror measures in NCR after recent terror module dismantling.

Haryana’s Director General of Police O P Singh announced the strengthening of the anti-terrorism apparatus in the state’s National Capital Region following the recent dismantling of a “white collar” terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Emphasizing the importance of citizen vigilance, Singh encouraged the public to report any suspicious activities, likening their role to that of Israel’s citizens, who actively thwart potential attacks. The DGP highlighted successful operations, including the seizure of 2,900 kilograms of explosives, and reiterated a comprehensive security framework involving state and central agencies in combating terrorism, underscoring that public safety is a continuous effort vital to thwarting threats.
