IAF's Su-30MKI to Boost Cooperation with French Fighters in Drills

The Indian Air Force’s Su-30MKI jets are set to enhance interoperability with French multi-role fighters during the bilateral air exercise Garuda 25, scheduled to take place from November 16-27 in Mont-de-Marsan, France. This eighth edition of the exercise involves complex simulated air combat scenarios focused on air-to-air combat, air defense, and joint strike operations, thereby refining tactics and procedures in a realistic setting. The IAF contingent, supported by C-17 Globemaster III and IL-78 air-to-air refueling tankers, arrived in France on November 10. This exercise not only fosters mutual understanding and cooperation in air operations but also underscores India’s commitment to engaging constructively with allied air forces through collaborative military exercises.
