Lt Gen RC Tiwari, the Army Commander of the Eastern Command, recently assessed operational readiness along India’s Northern Borders during a visit to Spear Corps in Arunachal Pradesh. He received briefings on the current operational stance and ongoing joint training exercises with the Indian Air Force and the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, underscoring improved coordination and advanced border management technologies. Tiwari commended the troops for their professionalism and stressed the importance of vigilance and integration of new technologies to address emerging threats. Additionally, he launched a YouTube channel, Siyom Tales, to celebrate local culture and strengthen ties between the Army and the community, reflecting the Eastern Command’s commitment to operational readiness and community engagement.
