Turkey rejects claims of radicalization efforts against India as disinformation.
Turkey officially rejected allegations from certain Indian media outlets accusing it of radicalization efforts against India, labeling them as baseless disinformation aimed at damaging bilateral relations. Turkey’s Center for Combating Disinformation stated these claims lack factual basis and undermine Turkey’s global counter-terrorism role. Meanwhile, Indian investigators revealed that two Delhi blast suspects, including Dr. Umar Un Nabi, had visited Turkey between 2021 and 2025 to meet terror handlers with codenames “Dr Ukasha” and “Dr Hashim,” linked to Pakistan-based terror outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. This doctor-led terror module was reportedly trained in Turkey on digital evasion and bomb-making. The deepening security tensions reflect mounting Indian concerns over Turkey’s strategic ties with Pakistan and its geopolitical stance on Kashmir, prompting India to strengthen alliances in the Eastern Mediterranean and South Caucasus as countermeasures.
