IAF trainer aircraft crashes near Chennai; pilot ejects safely, inquiry initiated.

Fortunately, the pilot successfully ejected and landed safely, avoiding any casualties on the ground. Local residents reported hearing a loud noise at the time of the crash, with the pilot parachuting near a high-tension power line, highlighting the potentially dangerous circumstances of the incident. An IAF helicopter subsequently airlifted the pilot to safety, and a Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the crash, underscoring the IAF’s commitment to maintaining safety standards in its operations while ensuring the well-being of its personnel.
