The Department of Defence Production (DDP) is set to showcase India’s indigenous defence capabilities at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF), scheduled to take place from November 14 to 27, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This dedicated pavilion aims to exhibit the transformative strides made under the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, emphasizing the nation’s growing strength, innovation, and self-reliance within the defence manufacturing ecosystem. A diverse range of advanced products and technologies across land systems, naval platforms, aerospace, and emerging technologies will be on display, with participation from all 16 Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs) and defence start-ups under the Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) programme. The DDP pavilion not only seeks to enhance public awareness of India’s defence capabilities but also aims to foster collaborations within the industry, reinforcing the significance of self-sufficiency in India’s strategic defense landscape.
