Taliban blames Pakistani military for regional instability and conflict.
The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has accused elements within the Pakistani military of exacerbating instability in the region through “manufactured pretexts,” as noted by spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid. He claimed that the Pakistani military’s anti-Afghanistan policies have historically leveraged Afghanistan’s turmoil while denying any connection between the Taliban’s rise and the resurgence of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Mujahid emphasized that the issues of violence in Pakistan predate Taliban control and stem from Pakistan’s own internal conflicts. He asserted that the Islamic Emirate has taken steps to promote regional stability and facilitate dialogue between Pakistan and the TTP, underscoring the need for a cooperative approach to address these complex security challenges in South Asia.
