Indian Army's Young Leaders Forum: Empowering Youth for National Security
The Indian Army, in partnership with the Centre for Land Warfare Studies, hosted the Young Leaders Forum on 31 October 2025 in New Delhi, laying the groundwork for the upcoming Chanakya Defence Dialogue. The Forum, held on National Unity Day, highlighted the crucial role of youth in achieving India’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, as emphasized by leaders like Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi. They discussed the demographic advantage of India’s youth and the need for discipline, innovation, and national pride to drive transformation. The event showcased the Army’s commitment to a Whole-of-Nation approach to security, reinforcing that the youth are vital to India’s future prosperity and sovereignty, reflecting a strategic focus on empowerment and self-reliance.
