IAF celebrates 93rd anniversary with grand fly-past over Brahmaputra.
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to showcase a spectacular flying display over the Brahmaputra River at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati on November 9, commemorating its 93rd anniversary. With a theme of “Infallible, Impervious and Precise,” the event aims to demonstrate the IAF’s operational capabilities, featuring a range of aircraft including the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft “Tejas,” Rafale jets, and the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team. This display not only honors the IAF’s legacy but also seeks to inspire youth in the Northeast to consider careers in aviation and defense. Such initiatives underscore the IAF’s commitment to national security and the importance of engaging regional communities in defense narratives.
