Preceding this, an ASEAN-India Defence Ministers Informal Meeting will be held on October 31, aimed at enhancing defense cooperation between ASEAN nations and India, aligning with India’s Act East Policy. India, a dialogue partner since 1992, plays a pivotal role in ADMM-Plus, co-chairing the Experts Working Group on Counter Terrorism with Malaysia for 2024-2027.
