47th ASEAN Summit: Modi's virtual participation and peace deal highlights.

The 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur marked a historic moment as East Timor was formally inducted as ASEAN’s 11th member. Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated virtually, emphasizing ASEAN’s pivotal role in India’s Act East Policy, which aims for strategic and economic integration in the Indo-Pacific region.
