L3Harris Technologies has expanded its Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) production facility, known as Advanced Manufacturing Facility South (AMF-South), in Huntsville, Alabama, with an investment of over $20 million. This state-of-the-art facility spans 379,000 square feet and aims to meet rising demands for critical defense programs, creating approximately 140 jobs. The expansion underscores Alabama’s role in defense innovation and manufacturing, reinforcing national security initiatives.
