Service chiefs celebrate Diwali with frontline troops, boosting morale and commitment.

On Diwali, the service chiefs of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force celebrated the festival with troops stationed at various frontline locations, highlighting their dedication and professionalism. Admiral Dinesh Tripathi joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi aboard the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, while Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh visited the strategically critical Ladakh sector, acknowledging the resilience of personnel under challenging conditions along the Line of Actual Control. General Upendra Dwivedi of the Army also visited soldiers in the Kumaon range, emphasizing the importance of technology integration and sustainability measures in harsh environments. These visits not only boosted morale among the troops but also reinforced the Indian armed forces’ commitment to national security, particularly in sensitive regions. The gatherings underscore a tradition of senior leaders engaging with service members during festivals, enhancing the bond between command and personnel and demonstrating the nation’s unwavering support for its defenders, especially those deployed in remote and inhospitable areas. Such gestures are significant as they embody the spirit of sacrifice and patriotism that defines India’s military ethos, serving as a reminder that while the nation celebrates, its defenders remain vigilant in safeguarding the country.
