Conducted under the supervision of Colonel Bharat Sethi, the trials demonstrated Fury’s prowess in varied combat scenarios, enhancing target acquisition and engagement efficiency by over 40%. This advanced system integrates high-definition thermal imaging with AI auto-target tracking, offering significant tactical advantages for Indian infantry. With over 10,000 Carl Gustafs in active service, outfitting these with Fury could substantially elevate squad-level firepower along critical borders, underscoring India’s commitment to indigenization and modernizing its defense capabilities.
