BRO ADG inspects crucial defense roads in Arunachal Pradesh's Project Arunank.

The Additional Director General of the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), Jitendra Prasad, recently concluded a five-day inspection of strategic infrastructure under Project Arunank in Arunachal Pradesh, which is vital for maintaining defense readiness along India’s border with China. Emphasizing the importance of road connectivity for troop movement and local socio-economic development, Prasad acknowledged the efforts of the BRO and the 23 Border Roads Task Force in overcoming challenging terrain and climate. Arunachal Pradesh Governor K.T. Parnaik highlighted the significance of well-maintained roads for rapid military mobilization and long-term defense infrastructure needs. This initiative not only strengthens national security but also fosters local trade and healthcare access, underscoring the dual benefit of enhanced infrastructure in border regions.
