Northern Command's high-tech war drill sets standards for future conflicts.

The Northern Command of the Indian Army recently concluded a high-tech war drill in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at enhancing preparedness for next-generation conflicts. Spanning four days, the multi-domain exercise involved troops from the Army, Central Armed Police Forces, and private sector participants, emphasizing an integrated approach to address modern security challenges, including cyber and electronic warfare. Lt Gen Pratik Sharma highlighted the need for innovation and a whole-of-nation strategy to protect territorial integrity against adversaries. This exercise signifies India’s commitment to enhancing its defense capabilities and readiness, particularly in light of ongoing tensions with China and Pakistan along critical borders, ultimately reinforcing strategic foresight and operational synergy within the armed forces.
