AUSA 2025 Annual Meeting Showcases Breakthroughs in Military Technology and Strategy

The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition 2025, held from October 13 to 15 in Washington, D.C., showcased significant advancements in land power and military technology over its first three days. Day 1 featured major unveilings including Lockheed Martin Sikorsky’s autonomous S-70 U-Hawk helicopter and General Dynamics’ Nexus command system on a Stryker vehicle. The show highlighted next-generation air defense solutions such as the Patriot system upgraded with LTAMDS radar and RTX DeepFires autonomous missile launchers. Day 2 included forums on human resources transformation, counterintelligence, and advanced manufacturing, while Day 3 involved discussions on Northern European military transformation and presentations by Medal of Honor recipients. Also notable were efforts to streamline sustainment through the agility layer and joint interagency task forces demonstrating rapid delivery of counter-drone capabilities. Exhibitors opened from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., providing a hands-on look at over 700 industry innovations. The event culminated with the prestigious George Catlett Marshall Medal presentation, reinforcing ties between defense industry, military leadership, and innovation. This exposition remains a critical forum for India to monitor U.S. military advancements and explore potential bilateral collaboration avenues.
