British aerospace and defense company Rolls-Royce has expanded its collaboration with Bharat Forge through a new agreement to manufacture fan blades for the Pearl 700 and Pearl 10X engines, signed at Rolls-Royce’s facility in Germany. This partnership, which began in 2020, aims to enhance India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and significantly increase local sourcing by 2030. The Pearl 10X engine represents a leap in propulsion technology, providing superior thrust for high-performance business jets. With over 1,400 Rolls-Royce engines already operational in India’s military, this agreement underscores the strategic significance of bolstering indigenous manufacturing and showcases India as a vital player in the global aerospace supply chain.
