An Indian Army soldier, Lance Naik Harvinder Saini, tragically passed away due to medical complications while on duty in Ladakh. His mortal remains were returned to his home in Arnia Kalan village, Jammu, where he was cremated with full military honours, attended by senior military officials, including Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma.
