India and Australia to conduct AUSTRAHIND 2025 joint military exercise from October 13-26.

India and Australia are set to conduct the fourth edition of their bilateral military exercise, AUSTRAHIND 2025, from October 13 to 26 at Irwin Barracks in Perth. This joint exercise aims to enhance operational capabilities in urban and semi-urban terrains under a United Nations mandate, reflecting both nations’ commitment to global peace and security. Following the successful conclusion of the third edition in Pune, which included combat scenarios and cultural exchanges, AUSTRAHIND has evolved into an annual event alternating between the two countries since its inception in 2022. This exercise underscores the growing defense cooperation between India and Australia, crucial for fostering interoperability and strategic partnerships in the Indo-Pacific region amidst shifting geopolitical dynamics.
