INS Imphal Conducts Joint PASSEX with USS Gridley in Arabian Sea
The Indian Navy’s guided-missile destroyer INS Imphal engaged in a successful Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with the U.S. Navy destroyer USS Gridley in the Arabian Sea on September 29, 2025. This exercise aimed to enhance interoperability and maritime cooperation, featuring advanced tactical maneuvers, cross-deck flying operations, and anti-piracy training, including Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) drills. Following the joint activities, both vessels resumed their respective missions, reflecting the ongoing commitment to strengthening the strategic partnership between India and the United States.
