Nepal's Energy Minister to Visit India for ISA Meeting in October

Nepal’s newly-appointed Energy and Water Resources Minister Kulman Ghising is set to visit India from October 27 to 30 to participate in the 8th meeting of the International Solar Alliance (ISA) in New Delhi. This marks the first official visit of a minister from Prime Minister Sushila Karki’s government, formed amidst political turmoil following the ousting of K.P. Sharma Oli. This visit underscores a renewed focus on bilateral collaboration in renewable energy and reflects Nepal’s commitment to strengthening ties with India, particularly in the energy sector. As both nations work towards sustainable development, this engagement is significant for regional energy security and cooperation in combating climate change.
