In a significant operation across Manipur, the Army and Assam Rifles, in collaboration with local police, apprehended nine militants linked to various insurgent groups and seized a substantial cache of weapons and narcotics. The joint efforts led to the recovery of 36 firearms, including rifles and pistols, alongside 13 kg of methamphetamine valued at over Rs 39 crore, suspected to be smuggled from Myanmar.
