During a meeting with Governor Lt Gen K T Parnaik (Retd), he highlighted the importance of establishing Zilla Sainik Boards to support ex-servicemen and their families. Parnaik underscored a collaborative approach to the Vibrant Village Programme, commending the Army’s community engagement and initiatives like pre-recruitment training for youth and support for Sainik Schools. This reflects a strategic commitment to bolster national security while fostering development and local empowerment in the border region, showcasing the Army’s dual role in defense and community upliftment.
