NIA conducts extensive multi-state raids in Vizianagaram ISIS case.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted extensive searches across eight Indian states in connection with the Vizianagaram ISIS case, targeting a conspiracy aimed at spreading terrorism through improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The operation, involving 16 locations, resulted in the seizure of digital devices, documents, cash, and incriminating materials, showcasing a robust response to dismantle terror networks. The investigation focuses on radicalization efforts targeting youth via social media platforms, with recent arrests highlighting the seriousness of the threats posed. This proactive stance by the NIA underscores India’s commitment to counter-terrorism and national security, reinforcing its resolve against radical elements.
