DCX Systems has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to establish a defense manufacturing facility in Hosur, enhancing the state’s aspirations to become a key aerospace and defense hub. This joint venture with Israel’s ELTA Systems will focus on producing high-end electronic warfare and radar systems, supporting India’s Make in India initiative and bolstering domestic defense capabilities. The Tamil Nadu government promises infrastructural support and incentives to accelerate the plant’s development, which aims to fulfill the growing demands of the Indian Armed Forces and strengthen Indo-Israeli defense collaboration.
