The GOC Western Command, Lt Gen Katiyar, emphasized that in the event of another terror strike, India’s response will be more severe than before, building on the ongoing Operation Sindoor, initiated after the Pahalgam attack. Highlighting India’s operational readiness, he noted the significance of recent cross-border strikes targeting terrorist bases in Pakistan. He underscored the importance of technological integration, particularly drones, in modern warfare and the need for strong coordination between military branches. Katiyar reiterated that India remains vigilant, prepared to deliver a crushing retaliatory response, and aims to deter further Pakistani aggression while safeguarding national integrity and cohesion.
