The Indian Army has launched a National Integration Tour for tribal students from Assam’s Tinsukia district under its Operation Sadbhavana programme. This initiative aims to expose students to India’s cultural heritage and modern institutions, highlighting unity and confidence. The tour includes visits to New Delhi to meet the President, Mumbai to explore Indian Navy warships, and the Armoured Corps Centre in Ahilya Nagar, where students will experience military training and tank rides. Such outreach initiatives strengthen ties between the armed forces and remote communities, fostering a sense of pride and responsibility among the youth in Northeast India.
