The Indian Navy is set to enhance its Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) capabilities with the commissioning of INS Aravali in Gurugram on September 12, 2025, under the leadership of Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi. Named after the resilient Aravali range, INS Aravali will bolster various information and communication centers crucial for the Navy’s command and control framework. Its motto, “Maritime Security through Collaboration,” emphasizes a cooperative approach with naval units and allied stakeholders.
