ICEYE has launched its fourth-generation Gen4 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellites, boasting enhanced performance with up to 16 cm resolution and a 400 km high-resolution coverage area. This advancement allows for rapid image acquisition—up to 500 images daily—enabling near real-time monitoring. The Gen4 satellites are designed for large-scale deployment, benefiting defense and intelligence agencies with improved situational awareness. Notably, these satellites can be acquired as fully sovereign capabilities, circumventing ITAR controls, marking a significant leap in satellite technology that will bolster global defense and surveillance operations.
